About Jonas Diego

JONAS DIEGO is an artist, creative consultant, businessman, and a blogger.

He is the Founder and Creative Director of ROBO MONKEY PIXEL FIGHTERS (RMPF), his art studio that specializes in graphic design, illustration, storyboard production, and comic book production.

He graduated from the University of the Philippines, Los Banos (UPLB) with a Bachelor of Science degree in Development Communications (Major in Educational Communication, Minor in Broadcast Communication, and Technical Course in Economics).

He loved college so much that he stayed for six years spinning music on the airwaves as a DJ for a local FM station, playing guitars and vocals in a band, and generally living the life of a free spirit. He also did a bit of studying on the side.

He has since then worked as a Communication Officer, a Graphic Designer, a Comic Book Creator, a Writer, an Online Marketing Specialist, a Content Developer, a Business Development Officer, a Creative Consultant, and a Country Manager for various international and local companies.

Blogging since 2003, Jonas turned pro in 2005, and was affiliated with the Philippines' first blogging network, Bayanihan Blogs.

He is an advocate of non-traditional channels (webcomics, e-books, and mobile content) as an alternative for the distribution, popularization, and monetization of comic books.
